Have been looking at cams as well and from reading up on the US HD forum it seems the W21 cam is good for 1700 to 5200 rev range and adds duration with a little extra lift. I is supposed to be for a bit of extra torque and mid range snap so that is where I am thinking at the moment but does anyone know if there is need of a tuner to bring out its capabilities as I wonder about the fuel needs with this cam over and above what the stock tune provides. I have seen where fuel consumption went down for one poster but it was an old thread so not able to post Q's there.
Nice! With any aftermarket cam definitely go for a tune if possible to make the most of the investment - a dyno tune over a flash tune, especially if you're spending the money on cams. If you find a good tuner you can get good gains and fuel economy at the same time

A mate in Aussie ran w21s in his dyna and I remember him saying how responsive they were especially with a bigger throttle body.
If you've got throttlebody/intake, exhaust, and are getting cams, 100% go for an actual dyno tune. Money well spent.
Videos of the upgrades please sir 😎
