Hey mate

Have you checked spark plugs condition and gaps?

Does it have a tuner/tune on it? And does it backfire and/or cough when it struggles to start?

Does it idle rough or vibrate excessively? Is there excessive noise coming from the primary?

What happens if you flick the ignition switch to run and then quickly try to start it without waiting for the light to go out/fuel pump to to go quiet?

Can you throw up a video (with sound) of the bike struggling to start when hot?

Hey Bronx
I haven't checked plugs, it does cough when it's hot, there's no excessive vibration just the normal amount there's no noise from primary except it crutches when it's hot bike runs beautiful except you try starting it after a quick stop I've tried the quick hit the run button trick but didn't work..it has got a tune on it I'll through up a video later today.
Cheers

Any luck with that hard startup video @Throttlejustus?

Smells like a tune issue to me, but hard to say - do you have anyone who can plug it in and get some data off it to see what's happening?

Let us know how you get on! Some good troubleshooting steps mentioned above.
Almost sounds like the starter gear isn't engaging properly or is worn?

I've actually just been busy riding it while the weather is still ok... That quick hit the start button trick actually does work 75% of the time...was going to dive into it more but didn't want bike off the road while there's still sun around... But will most likely pull starter change starter clutch and check solenoid and change plugs first if that don't work change compensator out... Will definately update the progress
