Handlebar company recommendation
For those looking for custom handle bars (I have no connection to this company)
I have just ordered a set of one off drag bars from The Handlebar Company in Nelson
I wanted to change the stock bars and there was nothing available any where for exactly what I wanted so gave them a ring and it was a simple process to get them underway

Re: Handlebar company recommendation
Well you had more luck than me, mine never did turn up and when I rang him about them he treated me like I was the enemy and I was making a real imposition expecting him to send me stuff within 4 months of me ordering it. So he can keep his handlebars for all I care.VonGruff wrote: ↑10 Nov 2022, 7:47 am For those looking for custom handle bars (I have no connection to this company)

That is a nice road to ride although I droped a BSA on the Big rock corner in 71 or there abouts. Slid on oil and into a carand had badly bent frame and forks. Wife loves the sea so might take a run out that way next time we are down.

I have to own up to being in the same boat as you with this guy. No answer to numerous textx and dosent return ph calls so after he took my money i have to consider him a scam artist.Spanners39 wrote: ↑10 Nov 2022, 10:37 pmWell you had more luck than me, mine never did turn up and when I rang him about them he treated me like I was the enemy and I was making a real imposition expecting him to send me stuff within 4 months of me ordering it. Re: Handlebar company recommendation
I will go into the Harley shop in Duneding when I am down there next as they recomended him to me but in reality it was $135 and while I hate wasting money it would cost me more in effort and time to go after him.
I am in talks with another possibility at the moment and have just sent them the specs of what I have and what I want. It is a very simple drag bar to fit the risers I have in a solid bar that will be held by the stock one piece top clamp that incorporates the speedo and guages. None of the off the shelf drag bars have the width in the central section to suit the riser width and I cant find anything in a mini ape that has just the 50mm pull back which I found on a previous bike is what suits my hand position best.
