Road King - highest bars with factory cables?

Hey!

Does anyone know how high you can go for bars on an '04 Road King whilst using the factory cabling?

Currently have 12" mini-apes but looking to get 16" x 2" apes on there, preferably without having to get longer brake lines and/or clutch cable.

Any info much appreciated!

From memory the highest you can go on the Road King's without putting pressure on the cabling is 12".
So you may need to look into those longer cables 🤑

Stirring up an old topic, but FYI you can go up to 14" bars on the Road King's with stock cabling. You may just need to slightly extend the bar wiring though.
