Seafoam in the fuel system
Seafoam in the fuel system
Has anyone used Seafoam in their tank to clean out their fuel system and cylinders?
Reading a little bit of conflicting info online about quantities and fuel levels etc.

Re: Seafoam in the fuel system
Sure have. It works great for carbon buildup and general fuel system cleaning. Just follow the instructions on the can and you'll be golden. I do 100ml on a near empty tank for a good clean, and 200ml on a full tank for maintenance every now and then. You can also use it to store a bike to save the fuel from going stale. Action Sport Direct are the only ones in NZ who sell it I think.

Have used it in many a fuel tanks, just never had the balls to put it in the oil. The thought of it makes me pucker every time haha, although they themselves say it's A OK and loads of people have reported doing it with good results online.

All good to use, have at it! Can't really go wrong I've heard of people throwing a full can into a tank. Although I probably wouldn't use that much personally, especially at the price it goes for in NZ 😆
