Sportster a 'girls' bike?

by Benporaken -

Why? I've seen/heard this more than once.
For the record I don't give a shit, I like my girls bike. Just wondering why.

Nah bro that “girl bike” shit is just old talk. Sporties have been around forever, heaps of blokes have built absolute beasts out of them. They’re light, quick, and have the Harley feel.

End of the day, ride what you like, you’re the one on the throttle 🤘

Haha yea pretty sure they started out being marketed more towards women back in the day so that’s where the whole girls bike thing came from. But nah they’re solid, quick as off the line. A well ridden sporty will give a big twin a run for it's money light to light

Yea its a girls bike, that’s why the ladies smile when you pull up on one haha. Lighter, easier to throw around, doesn’t rattle your teeth out like big twins. Nothin wrong with that, some of us can handle riding a girls bike and still look good doing it 😂

LOL, funny how people still say this in 2025. I ride a Sportster because I love how it feels!

Mine starts every morning, takes corners like a dream, and sounds mean enough that guys at the lights suddenly remember they need to check their mirrors 😂🤍
