Picked up a new bike

Recently picked this up. Road King Police Escort. Has a few things done to it already, 1600 S&S stage 3. Also has a few things to do/fix on it 😂

It rides quite well considering it's age! It has freshly upgraded front and rear suspension and corners nicely. 
However, as is often the case with used Harley's / people selling used Harley's, issues are not bought to your attention prior to purchase, so it has a few things needing to be fixed on it. Slipping clutch, spongy brakes, loose saddlebag, some engine noise etc. Nothing that was easily evident from a quick test ride!
Hopefully all easy and minor fixes but time will tell 😅

What are the details on the stage 3? How does she ride?

All I know is it has had an S&S stage 3 big bore/100 kit installed on it including a mild lumpy cam etc.
She feels like she'll pull alright, if the damn clutch didn't slip. Starting to get a bit annoyed at some of these people selling Harley's and lying about their condition/issues that's for sure!

I know how you feel mate! Had the same experience with a used Harley that I purchased 2-3 years ago now.

Hopefully it doesn't end up being too much needing to be fixed. Keep us posted with the upgrades/maintenance.

That is the problem with short test rides as there is so much to take in that it is hard to hone in on everything that  may show itself with time and miles on the road. Be a very nice ride if you get the little glitches sorted.

Nice ride. Pitty about the dishonest seller - seems a common occurrence in NZ to be fair 😂😅

Yep pretty good timing! I'll ignore the fact it's been off the road longer than on the road since buying it 😂
