Re: Battery Issues
Hey mate, welcome to the forum.
Haven't had first-hand experience with swapping to lithium in a pan-am, although I see lots of chatter relating to it over in the states, with success.
This looks to be the main go-to: ATX12-HD-RS

Re: Battery Issues
Thanks for the reply. I see Auckland Harley state the lithium battery for the Pan America is part number 66000301 $485.30.
Re: Battery Issues
Might pay to compare the specs side by side - I haven't had a chance to look at the HD part # you mentioned yet.
The HD one likely doesn't include the "Re-Start" feature, but that may not be needed.

Re: Battery Issues
Yes, some Pan America (2021-2023) owners have swapped to lithium batteries (e.g., AntiGravity, Shorai) for weight savings and better cold cranking. Results vary—some report improved starts, while others note voltage sensitivity and the need for a lithium-compatible charger. Check if your bike's charging system is lithium-friendly before switching. HD's system should support it, but monitor voltage closely.

Re: Battery Issues
Just looking at options. The NZ Harley lithium batteries are not good but there are others out there. I will just put up with it for now although I know the new Century Everride batteries produce more power than they advertise.
