Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum and new to Harleys.
I recently got myself a 2000 FXDX that has had some work done to it by previous owners.
I'm pretty capable, mechanically, and I'm very keen to do some basic maintenance and service work on my bike to ensure that the engine and its components are healthy.
My first priority is to identify and rectify a fuel leak that I've found and I need some help in confirming what the part is, the best place to get replacement parts, and any tips on work procedures.
The part that needs addressing is what I think is part of the fuel feed into the carburetor. It's situated roughly between the cylinder heads and behind the air cleaner (see pics of what I mean).
If ya'll could help me confirm what the part is, if there are shops or websites that are best for grabbing quality, affordable parts from, and any tips on procedures of replacement would be awesome!

Re: Leaky fuel line and/or components
Hey mate. welcome to the forums.
I'd recommend removing the air filter, cleaning everything up, and taking a few more pics highlighting exactly where the leak is. Someone should then be able to point you in the right direction.
This site will also help.
And as for buying parts, check out eBay once you have part numbers from the site above (if you're happy with off-shore), or your local Harley dealer.
